Meet the Staff

Gail Anderson, MD, FACS

drandersonDr. Gail Anderson is board certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She grew up in Anne Arundel County and received her Bachelor’s Degree from The Johns Hopkins University. She then received her Master’s Degree in Pathology from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She worked as a physician’s assistant for several years at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan before attending medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. After receiving her MD from Wayne State, Dr. Anderson completed a five year residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Pennsylvania. She founded Chesapeake Otolaryngology Associates LLC in 2001. She presently serves as the Chief of Surgery of the Dimensions Surgery Center. Dr. Anderson was one of the first doctors in the country to perform the Balloon Sinuplasty Procedure and attends annual conferences to stay up-to-date with procedures and techniques. Dr. Anderson lives in Calvert County, is a Master Gardener, and enjoys kayaking and strength training.


Katherine Perry, MD 

Dr. Katherine Perry is board certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then went on to receive her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine, where she graduated with distinction, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Perry completed a five year residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Maryland before joining Chesapeake Otolaryngology Associates in 2015. Dr. Perry was born and raised in Annapolis, where she currently resides with her husband and two children. She enjoys boating  and hiking with her family.

Lynne Jacobs, DNP, CRNP

drjacobsLynne Jacobs comes to Chesapeake Otolaryngology with over 30 years experience in nursing and 17 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in New England, attending Boston College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1982. She completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of New Hampshire in 1996, and her Doctor of Nursing from the University of Alabama in 2010, specializing in sleep apnea. Additional certification in nasopharyngolaryngoscopy and stroboscopy round out her education. Lynne is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She holds membership with the Academy as well as the Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Nursing. Lynne also holds the rank of LCDR in the US Naval Reserves. She is married to a retired Navy Captain and resides in Pasadena where she and her husband enjoy boating in their spare time.
